Speaking about security and terrorism, some time ago I was colecting satellite data of the earth.
There is a lot of public data and you can make your terrains or research, in my case Gondwana.
During my internet research I found some forums, coments and information.
Almost all the Earth surface was mapped with some precision by satellites and Afghanistan is located in planet Earth, so after the invasion of Afghanistan all satellite data from there vanished from the internet, national security!!
First some questions, what's the importance for national security that you have some Afghanistan's DEM or see that is some mountain there? For what the Hell Taleban need satellite data of Afghanistan?, they live there!
And the second and funny part, what has vanished and removed from the internet was only satellite data, classic topographic maps that are much more detailed and precise continue to be available without any problem
Stupidity also evolves!
