Your disk could be dying, you may want to consider copying the whole disk to your hard drive to be safe. Do you have this problem with other CDs? If not, definately copy whole disk (if you can) while in Dos. I had a similar problem with a disk just before it quit on me altogether (due to scratchs) Another thing to consider is replacing the CD-ROM driver, they may be corupted in windows (maybe?) If it turns out to be a bad disk you could try contacting curious labs, they may send you a new one if your a registered owner and have a registration code.
