I like them both, but......I got Vue 4 just recently, I have had Byrce 5 for about 3 weeks, and had Bryce 4 for a while now, like I read before each has it own strenghth and weakness's but......oh my, Byrce's render engine is horrible. It is really really slow. Byrce 4 is a bit faster, but oh my goodness 5 is so slow it seems to go backwards. The Terrain editor in Vue is really much nicer and easier to manipulate, Bryce 5 hasn't really changed that much, they added a tree lab, that needs more work on realism, and added meatballs, changed around their interface for the terrain editor, and changed some colors, but that is about it.....except for that terrible render engine. As far as final renders, Vue is so much more realistic, and that was what I was looking for. I love my Vue and like Byrce 4, I could have done without Bryce 5. Sharen
