Here is some of that "additional research" I spoke of ...

• One of the Costco in San Diegi, CA asserted that  a scan of 35mm would
  give 2,000 X 3,000 pixels ... that's 6 Megapixels.

I'm starting to doubt the 25 Megapixels claim in the article.
