Excellent ! =) I think the colors are a bit too flashy for something that old, but it's just me and my tastes . If it was the effect you were expecting, then it's fine . I especially like all the dirt everywhere . Overall, great work . Bonne chance ! I'm doing the contest too, so i'll post a WIP of my image later (tonight hopefully) litst

Thanks for the comments ! Sure we now chance to have so small computer boxes. When I think of the first computers in the 50's... I used Amapi 4.15, Poser 3 and RDS for the modelling, The GIMP for the textures and RDS for the rendering : 11 hours in 3200 x 2000 on a AMD Duron 920 and 917 Mo RAM. I've never had such a long rendering for a single image ! I think that the more powerful my computer gets, the more complicated my scenes are. I'm thinking of changing my graphic card : I actually have a Creative Riva TnT with 16 Mo, but I'm not very interested in a GeForce MX but in a Powercolor Kyro I (not II) with 64 Mo RAM. I think that RDS does only care of the amount of memory available on the graphic card, not of the new instructions included in the nowadays GPU. Does anyone know about that ? I don't often work with RDS by this times, but I made this image for a contest. It represents an early XXth century computer. What do you think of it ? Fabien CREAFab, la crtion numique autrement...
