Subject: Aurora borealis (aka northern lights) in vue?

Glad you like it. I used some of my photography knowledge to come up with this. This was the result of much aurora viewing on a high quality DVD, TITLE: (Aurora Borealis , the magnificent northern lights) I picked it up on ebay) If you want the best Aurora footage that I'm aware of I can highly recommend it. I'd rather go see it in person, But that was not an option.

Much of the footage I saw seemed to be more twilight than just plain dark. When possible I like to study a subject well before doing my take on it. I don't like to copy what I saw. I just think of what an Ideal scene might look like and then see how close I can get to what I had in mind within a reasonable time frame.

Here's a pix of my Amos settings.

Light Setting: was global ambience , all sliders centered, and apply only to sunlight selected.
