i have run Poser 5, 6, 7, Pro and 8 on various laptops since 2005 in fact i don't  know if Poser run on a desktop ;-)

like BB said try to get a 17 inch 1900x1200 screen, my advice is to don't get anything less than a 15 inch 1680x1050, tried once Poser 8 on a 1440x900 but i have to undock many elements to get some room to work

i don't know how poser work  with the integrated graphics, i buy only laptops with a dedicaced graphics card and video memory, Modo and C4D feel better with a good gfx card
