The only issue some users may encounter with Laptops has to do with support of OpenGL with some of the Video Chipsets used... nVidia are ususally good, Intel Drivers seem to only come from the Laptop Manufacturer... if it is a new Chipset you are normally okay, but if it is an older one, you may find the Driver has no updates. I am not real familiar personally with ATI, but I also do not see to many issues reported with the ATI Mobility Chipsets, so I suspect they are okay. You can run Preview in SreeD, so it is not something that will prevent you from running Poser on a Laptop.
