Well I've installed it and had a look.  The documentation is for 6 not 7.  Couldn't find anything on instancing.

The trees are still the same as I rememeber from when I used it.  I thought I'd seen something over at the DAZ forum on 'vegetation lab' but only found the miserably horrid tree lab

I imported a tree from Onyx but couldn't find where to separately edit the leaves from the trunk and it crashed when I tried to load the edit menu so at this moment in time I think my thoughts on Bryce 7 are "I'm underwhelmed"

Now this is only a personal opinion and as it's been so long since I used it (even if it was my first app and I did ALL the early LVS classes) I've really forgotten how to use it so don't anyone just take my word for it (as if you would anyway )
