Oh, I agree absolutely. That intensity slider is really almost too powerful, lol. I would say most HDRI's I use will have an Intensity value of 5 or less.
Sorry, AS, I will have to agree to disagree on this point. *
But, yeah as you would make a final render, a user might want to increase that Quality to change the shadows. Of course render times go up, but with all things 3D, its usually a tradeoff, lol. ;o)
