Yup, that be the truth.  ;o)
This is VERY beta and very prone to crashing. 
The Instance Lab just copies right now, no True Instancing, where we will get the great magical break in much less actual polys.

But I find it amazing that although the Instances are not true, Bryce is handling it quite well with what people are throwing at it.
