Bryce 3D was the first CG software I ever used. I loved it and have lots of good memories about building scenes and boolean models. Eventually the Bryce look became tiresome. (I can recognize a Bryce render instantly unless it is black and white and limited to a few objects). Vue seemed to be where the real advancements were happening so I jumped ship. When ecosystems were invented (and eventually made usable) Vue's superiority over Bryce was exponential. Lots of irritation along the way though.
Daz needs to replace that 'User Interface and Completed Render' image. I was considering upgrading Bryce until that picture reminded me of the badness. Bryce is obsolete and I don't think Daz has what it takes to make it anything more than a platform for their content.
