I will suggest that there are many deformities or disabilities which are shown poorly in movies and television , and there may be some deformities that historically became the model for folklore creatures.

As long as the artist is not intentionally using that representation to deliberately offend those individuals then they should not be concerned with it. Fantasy and horror creatures in my opinion were not created to mock any person.

To the original poster I suggest that considering the matter does you credit, but enjoy your art. It doesnt really matter if you are a new user or an experianced artist.
