For each setting in Vue you can define "automatic", "flat", "faces", "cylindrical", "sperical", "Torical" and for each combination you then can define the method "none", "bilinerar", "normalized" and "bicubic". Then you have displacement and normal mapping (not sure about those in Bryce, I have not installed it). Not to forget all the settings about shadow reception, casting, individual quality levels etc.

You said I'm only showing half the Vue list. I'm using V8C.
Maybe V 8 infinite has more or maybe the rest are hidden in the different structure you mention.

Where's the other half?

That list I showed was a screen shot of exactly what I saw. I cropped both shots to show only an obvious vertical list of modes. I did not cut the Vue list short.
