I should have been more clear. I'm working with Procedural Textures. None of the extra modes you mention are in Vue as in your screen shot when using Procedurals as can be seen is this my new screen shot.

However it's good to know there are some more modes with picture mapping ticked.
And yes C is for Complete
And I'll look into the function editor for more.
