Actually the Prius is such a primitive shape that I can
probably make a good-enough-for-cartoon model in a few minutes.

Dosch Design has a Prius in their 2007 cars collection. (Not sure about later years since I haven't got them.)

Thanks for the Dosch tip!  As you say, those sets are too expensive.  It's too bad they don't sell
each model separately.  $120 / 19 would be about $10 per car, which I'd pay.

3d warehouse has a ton of Prius models... of course you'll need to convert them to obj to be useful, but other than that' they are free. Easiest way to convert is to download the demo of the pro version of Sketchup which will allow you to convert to OBJ.

or just use the Free edition with Whaaats UVMapper Ruby (exports to OBJ) or the Free Editions Collada Export and convert from there (Wings will do Collada / OBJ for instance)

 Ockham, just remember it's not a bug in Poser if you accidently roll the camera pitch and your Prius model rolls off and out of your scene! You might try some small box primitives placed in front of and behind the tires, to prevent this.

And yes, they do seem to have gotten their act together, but there was a day... ;o) I had a Pinto and a Granada...OMG...lolol. The Pinto would still run, even after you shut it off and removed the key. And the Granada? Every time I came to a stop sign or a red light, the vacuum hoses would pop off, it would stall and I'd have to jump out and pop em back on quick.

Boy, I'm glad those days are over (knock wood).
