Subject: Are there poser animations with a story in them, out there?

I know there are a few like Raven, (I have yet to see but intend to; and the people at; Renga Media. I searched all over the net for almost a day; though I found some good poser animation a lot of it only would seem good to some one who does animation as it show of some thing difficult they have done. Do any of you have small animation with a story to it that you have done? Even if it is just a little joke (comedy) animation.

I have coming out at iFilm. It is a baby step but the next one will be better. This Monday (July 23, 2001) a short video animation I did will be premiering at IFilm.com ("Toy's Chance" see url below - it will be live Monday). http://www.ifilm.com/ifilm/product/film_info/0,3699,1387206,00.html This started as a test animation because I wanted to try some animation & DV techniques. I wanted to do a full short animation but I didn't have the time. I decided to make a short trailer (about 2 minutes) as a preview. This wasn't meant to be the one I was going to release but here it is anyway. The next part will have better production value and animation. The version that is premiering is a PG version of the tale. If it goes well, I will continue working on it (but it may not stay as PG as this version). Please give me some feedback I'm trying to get as many eyeballs to go over to iFilm.com starting next week to check out the flick. So please pass this information to anyone that you think might enjoy it. Thanks, Orlando orlando@timeview.com timeview@timeview.com

My very first attempt at Poser animations sotra tells a story. It's called "A Faeire and Her Wand", and it's posted at "genspace.com" on the Poseamation or Digimations (or something like that) page.

Sorry guys I tried to view your works on-line but was unable to. Thanks for responding though. I am surprised at how few animations are made with poser that actualy have stories in them. Thanks. Deimos.

No full stories as yet, but I do have a couple of humorous animations on my personal web site which I hope you'll enjoy. :-) (99.9% of them were made with Poser 4). Dave PS You need the DivX Codec to view them.

I have a work-in-progress that features a mix of Poser & Bryce animation - you can see it at: http://www.geocities.com/oldgreycat/stockholm/KatieDid_1_web_2.mov I also have another one, featuring my score, at: http://www.geocities.com/oldgreycat/poser_rock_video_101b.mov that one, however, doesn't tell much of a story ..... more just me getting the feel for the process.

Hi every one, thanks for the responces. I have another question for you. If I organised a contest, for 30 Second to 6 minute animations with modest prizes. How many of you would be willing to mail the entries on disk, zipdisk, or CD.. If you wanted it mailed back you could send SASE. If there were to be a cash prize I would have to charge an entry fee, so I doubt I will do this. Thanks Deimos.

My continuity sucks, plus no audio, but I have a semblence of a story beginning, tho I have a complete script done. It's a Vampire story.
