Thank you all.  Acadia, changing the parent worked!  For some reason when I would try to set the parent though, it never would bring  Lilo up in the menu like it would for everything else that I parented.  I'll definitely save the hair as a smart prop, though would that be best done in a new scene with just a naked Lilo and the hair?  

Clothes really interest me.  I didn't know you could make a conforming one kinda dynamic, that's cool.

I have this bookmarked and I'm going to work through all the links.. especially the runtime.  Ugh, my runtime is so out of control and I really need to get that fixed.  When I find myself staring at a page of freebies I can't just pick one.

Okay, back to this one.  Now I just have to find where it put my wizard props.
