Noelcan thanks for your input but I'd say its not poser. I have problems even after clearing my cache and restarting the comp, even before I run poser again.

Just shutting down ad-aware and memturbo has made a difference. I'll check out turning off some of the other services kiabach suggested to see if I can get better results.
