You may want to get Spybot Search and Destroy and run that... It may be that something got on your system that is blocking AdAware from disabling and AdAware is trying to disable....

My daughter got something like that a few years ago and after adding Spybot S&D to her system and running all the Scans, including AV, we found several issues that once fixed cleared up the original issue. I can not recall what it was exactly, but I do know she got from a Facebook Link (or MySpace Link) from a friend..
