If you have Poser 8 and if you opted to go with the default installation (which most do), then the default library that is initially visible in Poser 8 will be the one titled "Poser 8 Content". This is located in your Documents folder.

You have installed the DAZ figures to the local Runtime within Program Files which is OK but you must now add that library using the "Add Library" button located near the top of the library window.
