I did forget to add, Callie, that you can save this "shader" (node set) into a material room library. You can then apply the texture to other areas.
I'd have a play with Stitch Witch... you wouldn't be necessarily making textures to sell, but it does make texturing incredibly easy with features which takes the pain out of getting things to line up right. As with anything, there is a bit of a learning curve.
There are some SW users on the PfDLives forum... they have a tutorial to help make the process a bit clearer. Signing up is free...
