What seems strange is nothing has changed, no new software, and yet a problem that didn't exist now does. Hardware fails, unlikely but possible, so I thought maybe it was an issue there. Your sure you don't have windows updating in the background, and that fouled something up? Though the fact P8 works for an hour after fresh install then stops working properly is really odd. I have no ideas, hope someone smart can come and help you out.
