The only things I have in my core folder are the base DAZ characters and, even then I have them in an external runtime as well.  This works the best for me.

All of my stuff is out in external runtimes, organized the way it works best for me.  The hair files, for example, are in a folder named Hair and then separated by vendor site:  Renderosity, RDNA and DAZ.

Again, my organization is what works best for me but I love keeping like items together.
