Anyone with this issue and the issue is not resolved by updating Video Driver (note, you may want to delete the device before installing the latest Driver to remove any files that may be corrupting the Driver.
NOTE: If you have Automatic Windows update active, change to Download but not install. Some systems, windows wants to install an out of date Driver. If this happens it will corrupt your newest Driver, but may not reflect in the current Driver Version in Windows.
Then use MSCONFIG to run in Diagnostic Mode and see if the issue occurs there..
If you still have issues, contact support with your system details. Include other things like changing Focus of the system (going to Paint, etc.. ) that also causes the issue. Put Attn: John in the Subject.... I only can find two active incidents with us, and the details of the two are different.
As others have indicated, the fact it runs for a time seems odd. This normally indicates corruption from a third party product or process. I had a user a few weeks ago that the issue was one of their Security Software programs causing the issue. It was a Free Product that did not allow for any customization unless they paid.. they removed it and as of Monday, no issues since removing that program. I am not saying this is the only issue, but use it for an example of why it is hard to isolate, unless all the diagnostic steps are taken.
