*I'm still running windows 32 bit, I'm assuming with Arcebus' system it will be 64 bit. Having said that, it surprised me that the difference would be so little between P8 and PP2010. I would have expected a lot more.

Actually - yes, the Win 7 is the 64 bit version, and , actually, yes, I would also have expected more speed from this. As mentioned above - I am satisfied, cause my workflow normally is:

• modelling/texturing and setting up stuff in Poser(7)Pro (XPPro x64/i7 940/12 GB)
    including all the little helper app's because some of them have not yet arrived at Win7
  and
• rendering on the box mentioned above.
