Before you try to find the service specifically, run it in Diagnostic Mode so all services that are not needed are off. (Use Windows... other products that claim to do the same tend to leave their services running, which means it is Security or Status Monitoring Software, which is often the culprit.
If you have the same issue (not similar issues) in Diagnostic Mode, you can rule out all the services as being a culprit.
