The ambient light in this is almost a dead on match for what was there... Generally when shooting this type of subject matter, I try to be true to the original scene. As to what I was looking for, I just decided to walk around town and shoot things that caught my eye (this did). Why do I like this??? I think our environment says a lot about what is and what has been. I believe that if we look close enough then we can see past the literal interpretation of what is in front of us and find a deeper connection to the world around us all.
