I really like it. I can't tell for sure the reason for the 'extra' door, but the image says a lot (even metaphorically to me)--look at the stains running down the concrete (which itself is battered and worn), the change of brick--denoting to me possibly an 'add on' years ago. Also--the sad neglected 'whatever' left in the corner of the doorstep. This building and this doorway have been 'used'--the paint is peeling and worn, around the handle its totally worn off. Then, if you REALLY want to go into it deeper (and I'm assuming Alpha didn't have this in his head when he took it), the slightly greened blue of the paint is very similar to the blues used on the Taos Pueblo and other pueblo peoples' homes to keep evil spirits away and protect the inhabitants. In fact, I stained my window trim on my studio this color years ago--a little symbolism that only I knew and understood around Hickory LOL. I like the depth of color, myself, but then I love saturated colors. Even if it wasn't 'dead on'--it would add to the 'feel' of the image.
