But if you want to buy the Pro version just for animation purposes, test it in the demo first, because there are a lot of styles producing flickers. Most of the built-in styles (especially those with brush strokes) were designed for stills not for for animation. You can produce cool animated stuff though, if you stay in the toon/anime universe.
