Having finally gone to your gallery and given a (very) cursory view,..     I personally feel that maybe you are a bit hard on yourself..   Or maybe My monitor is also out of whack..!

Only "Gothic Bliss"  and "Watching TV"  seem dark.  IMVHO..!
