Subject: need help with injectable morphs

mman ( ) posted Thu, 25 March 2010 at 11:41 PM · edited Thu, 27 February 2025 at 2:36 AM

I'm somewhat new to poser (currently using poser 8) and I don't completely know how everything works, so if this is a simple fix or if a similar topic has been posted elsewhere, I apologize for wasting anyone's time and effort.

I have a few unique character models that are similar to, or based off of, more commonly used character models, such as Victoria 4, Aiko 3, and the like. I have been attempting to inject a few different morphs into these models but I've run into some difficulty. Whenever I inject more than one morph into the character, all morphs, except the newly injected one, and all effects of the morphs vanish as if they were never injected at all.

I have tested all morphs, multiple at the same time, on standard models and they work just fine. Individually the morphs work just fine on my special models, but whenever I try to inject more than one, the previously injected morph is removed and no longer affects the model.

I've had this problem for sometime now, with several unique characters, and for a long time I've done my best to work around it, or ignore the models that have this problem, but now I sick and tired of being unable to properly morph about a fourth of my character library.

Does anyone know a way to fix this, and get multiple morphs injected into these kind of unique characters?

Hi:-)
First you have to apply all the morphs one by one as a morph target. When you have all the morphs (zeroed) on you save your figure to the library as a cr2 file. From there you work with it like V4 with injected morph :-)

they could be using the same injection channels and over riding each other.

As far as I can tell, the morphs don't have the same injection channels, they load fine on other charecters so they can't be over riding each other, I think.

Is it possible to apply the morphs as morph targets if they don't have any geometry objects, and only have .pz2 files? If so, how?
