I can assure you nothing is malicious about the ads displayed through the Google Ad Network.
I encourage to read this link from Google on its extensive review process for ads submitted through its network, which also includes its policies for governing websites on its network:

Google would not be a billion dollar Ad Serving business if they were pushing spyware onto people's computers.
If you have any other questions please let me know. :)

I think Google is a billion dollar business because it does push spyware. How does Google get money? Not from the users but the advertisers. Tracking cookies are spyware.

Firstly, spyware wasn't mentioned in the OP. Tracking cookies were. Perhaps I could encourage you to read this link:
http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=guidelines.cs&answer=100744
from which the relevant section is:
"Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie in its Google Content Network advertising services to help you serve and manage ads across the web"
And if you go to the link in that quote, you see this:
"DoubleClick uses Web beacons in connection with its products and services, including ad serving and paid search listings (“DART Search”)."
Google ads are privacy-invaders, beyond doubt. Oh, and the other point of interest from that first link above is this:
"If you are an AdWords advertiser that uses AdWords conversion tracking or DoubleClick's conversion tracking products, or that participates in interest based advertising, you must post and abide by a privacy policy that discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users' browser, or using web beacons to collect information on your pages. "
Interestingly, I can't find a privacy policy here, though I'm sure there must be one. If so, does it include such a statement?
Having said all that, the best answer is to use AdBlock, which stops these ads cold.

And THATS were you are soooo wrong .. tracker cookies are placed and Google knows about it..
And the link you provide is from GOOGLE Dohhh ...
sure you dont think they will write : YES we place tracker cookies etc etc ..
Thats like asking the robber if he did it ... sure he says NO ...
Renderosity is going the wrong way about this ..
Google is not upfront about it and tracker cookies are not harmless..
So if Rendo likes to defend their advertising .. its your good right.
But that also means that its not save anymore on Renderosity as long as we get Ad's from google on our desktop...
Pitty but thats the end of a trustfull site..

Hey Clint .. long time no see ..
But what is your point.. these cookies are not comming from Renderosity's server..
These are put trough from the adverts by Google adverts ...
and i can read English .. and i can read that Rendo wil not be held resposible for these cookies etc etc..
But that still does not take away that its not 100% save anymore to roam the site..
And who is or is not responsible does not change that ....
Im not attacking Rendo, but im sad that we now have to be carefull on what and what not to click on renderosity site..
just a big pitty ..

Thank you, that's useful. I note though that the privacy statement says nothing about third-party cookies as the policy from Google requires, assuming of course that rendo is an 'AdWords advertiser" (whatever that is) and therefore should comply with the Google policy.

Hi Chris,
Always good to see you around buddy. :)
I was just pointing out the sites privacy policy since spedler indicated they werent able to locate it.
"Interestingly, I can't find a privacy policy here, though I'm sure there must be one. If so, does it include such a statement?"*
So no point from me other than where the sites privacy policy is.
Spedler, You're very welcome.
Have a great day!!
All the best,
Clint

I realy wish Rendo quit with cooperating with these malice site's and adverts ..
This site was always free from adware and such ..now trough the back door they are getting in anyway,,
Such a pitty we cant trust it anymore ..
