Were I to try that [and I did], I'd make it a 2D object essentially and have it face the camera, there's a switch for that, and have the lady or cat grouped to the moon where you want it/her to appear, so no matter where you put your camera you can't see but the side shot keeping the 2D aspect out of the image. I did a similar image for an all nite radio show and that's how I achieved this, although in Imagine 3D but the technique would be the same.. ...

and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
