I use the low res versions of V3, M3, M2, Steph and V2 unless I'm doing something which needs a very detailed model.
Since they are all free now, there's no reason to not try them out, at least.
Just run the exe files. They will slot into the right places. The multiple ones likewise. You can move the resulting folders afterwards if you want. Don't move the INJ/REM folders for V3 or M3, though. Most of the time, the INJ/REM poses won't work if they're moved. Oh yeah, don't move folders out of their Runtime subfolders, either. Unless you're creating another Runtime, that is.
