You are not shamed, so don't feel that way. There are some who are just poking fun is all. I tend to think the new figures in 2010 are a way of SM stepping forward from the past figures...moving on so to speak (as LaurieA is )

I can understand if the 2010 figures are not your cup of tea, but rest assured the rest of the program is light years ahead of it's other versions.
There is a freeware figure called Apollo Maximus (Google is your friend), he has all of the "bits and pieces" for you.
There are also DAZ figures, but those will cost you some cash.

You didn't make a mistake getting 2010, it is by far their best step forward.
