I use 7zip a freebie which I got from filehippo.com.
I use multiple runtimes. If I have a few to go in the same runtime I select them all - right click - extract files - set destination and click okay. Everything else I leave at default and it unzips the lot to the required runtime merging folders as needed. No problems as yet and I've been using it a couple of years.
