Here's the message which pops up if you try to apply an mc6 to a model which has differently-named material zones:
The answer has always been No, but now it occurs to me that I should experiment to find out what Poser does if I choose Yes. ^^
Oh, and the likely counterpart to an auto body would be carrosserie. ^^
If I have modified a model so that it no longer has the material zone glass, I'll get this popup, but Poser will apply the materials to the other mat zones which match. I could then use mt5 file(s) to change any new material zones (windows and mirrors) in the modified model. I would then save a new mc6 for the modified model.
