Ah well, I don't have everything turned on. There are a lot of needless things running if you don't customize it. So I can see the speed up your talking about. I get quick start ups on this old single core and does not interfere with the software on it.

I also don't have any AV or firewall on my main PC's. They don't get connected to the net. The advantage having more than one PC.
