we're assuming that, before subm. bug rept.:

• pilot tried to install to 10.6.3
• pilot can't revert to earlier version of 10.6
• pilot repaired disk and permissions prior to and after install, and prior to running poser
• disconn. any FW800 dev. when trying to install
