I have lymph edemas, which need some attention, from time to time. No big problem, everything else is just fine.

Nice photos!  Love the warm light on some of the evening captures.

I guess that, while it`s quite a challenge of course, it should be possible to recreate at least some
in Vue.

Mazak,
ah, sorry about that, but glad it's not too bad form what you say :)
(just read up on it on Wiki...Human body is an amazing thing!)

the "Diebsturm" loooks awesome, be a greta model for Vue ;)
hm, was it a real fortified house, or was it a "shot tower", I wonder?
I know in the UK many such towers were actually used long ago to make shot for shotguns and the like, they'd pour molten lead form up high, which would solidify as it fell through the air and finally into a pool of water at the bottom.

There are many "fortified houses" , small castles in fact in Scotland and Northern England, really interesting buildings.

I saw somewhere on the Net, last year, iirc, a test of a 1 gig/sec broadband system to a single person's house, lol. One gig..a second...!

Yes I agree the "Diebsturm" is on my top list of models I like to do. btw. Diebsturm (Diebes Turm) translated in English "Thief Tower".

Oh, so it was like hm, a sheriff's gaol and office? :)

this is a print and pciture of the Glasgow "Tollbooth", it got converted into a clocktower.
the tower is what remains of a very old town council building from early 1600s, the foreground structure, octagonal and squat was, iirc where they did imprison folk and replaced a much older one dating back to the 14th century.

tollbooth = jail, since you rarely got jailed for long, as flogging, execution and fines were used not long jail time for most folks.

Ah yes the good old days when justice was sift and to the point. None of this sitting around watching cable TV, working out, going to college in prison and getting a law degree only to use it for no good. All this as the average tax payer scraps all they can do get by now that's justice and fairness.

The reality of what they did to folk in those days was that a great many innocent folk died, or were left destitute etc etc.
Much as I loathe Human Two Legged Vermin, ie, scumbags, and loathe how the legal system has become a joke so often, I most certainly do not want ot go back to what used ot happen.
Have you ever read the histories of Europe etc and thus why modern penal systems avoid such?
Start with "the Bloody Assizes" after the Monmouth Rebellion in ENgland, for starters, go to the Highland Clearances, and then maybe to how bad things were before the Napoleonic Code was brought in to many European countries which France over ran in that period.

If you wish to, I can show you lots of interesting and horrible stuff (I love history!)
I may not like scumbags, but I fear becoming one even more.
but I'd rather stick to art :)

Sliverblade my friend I'd rather do art. After two tours to the Middle East I've had my share humans do to humans. Also being of Irish decent I know all too well what the "Scumbags" of history have done.

I will stick with my present build for Vue. Thanks all.

no worries bud :) and my sympathy :/
least the Irish have managed crosses fingers to break the cycle of crap done unto each other, unlike many other places in the world, thank goodness. From personal experience, I loathe the sectarian lunacy, shudders
Love the Irish, most are completely bloody barmy, but in a good way! :p
NE coast of Ireland's beautiful :)

It's the final version of bug collections yet.  I keep going back to build 47776 which has the least amount of bugs of all the 8.x builds.

 Yes

PoserPro2010 and 51713- terrible! I did just get some sort of import- with OpenGL switched to SOFTWARE . MacIntel MacPro 2.66 Ghz Quad. 7 G Ram.

Anywhere I can download previous builds???

ShawnDriscoll ( ) posted Mon, 26 April 2010 at 2:46 AM

There is a previous builds link on the downloads page under the current build links.  I see you're using a Mac.  Weird that it is having the same errors as the PC version.  That means the code is hardware independent, which is rather cool and only needs to be written once.  But it also means broken code for both platforms.
