Subject: Is there a better way to Edit Joints?

Despite DAZ' claims the "Figure Mixer" is pretty much useless in creating proper children and teens.

I was pretty exited at first, too, but then quickly noticed it's shortcomings:

Human growth isn't linear, that means 50% of a 5yrs old and 50% of a 20yrs old won't result in 100% of a 12yrs old.

To get correct child and teen proportions you have to individually mix limb sizes and lenghts.
For example 10% of M4's torso size but 50% of his leg length and 40% of his arm length and 30 % of his feet size.

But the figure mixure can't do this so the result is again a figure with completely unrealistic proportions.

Yeah, some people say they were able to create "Nice Teens" with it, but then a lot of people see nothing wrong with V4's proportions or think the new Kids-4 look perfectly normal out of the box.
