Advice on running anti-virus scans: if you are going to run a deep anti-virus scan, disable the restore points on your PC.  While it is enabled, it is protected from any scanning programs.  And if you have virus lurking within it, the virus will become active when you perform a restore.  By shutting it down, you allow your deep scan to penetrate those files and clean out any dormant viruses.
