What we don't have are tutorials on how to make great clothes. Wrinkles, Pockets, buttons, laces, ringlets...and how to put it all together. How to make great UV mapping... How to make non-boring hair...
This sort of thing.
AmEN to that one, Bill... they take us right to where it gets interesting, but forget to take about edge-loops, or how to mesh for articulation, fold, creases, all without getting polygon range up to where dynamic needs to be. Clothing that deforms well. Not just wetsuits.
Oh, and for the not-so-rich who have decided to be Blenderised, something for Box Modellers would be really nice (that would include the Wings3D crowd, I reckon). I can't afford much more than just Poser Upgrades - 3DCoat and ZBrush are a bit out of my price range.
I'm not sure why they stop there, it may be that it hasn't occured to them that they didn't tell you already :)
As to other apps I have just got Blender, when I am up to speed with it I'd gladly add it to my training apps. Incidentally if there are any others out there that want to use the facilities to do some training of their own then talk to Ironman13 over at 3D Hobby Mag.
John.
