I've taken a look at the Ref manual and saw what you've pointed me too.  I believe I have some files missing with this software.  After following all the steps in the Ref.  I do not have the + showing up anywhere.  The only image that I have is "Create New Folder". 

I've had that issue too, closing and reopening Poser bought back the + button.
