Nice one Bill, I'll check that out the next time I break it.
John.
Quote - Well, I don't know how to check TCP connections on Mac, but in Windows it's pretty easy.
I closed down my browser and my email program and launch Poser Pro 2010. Then I do nothing for about a minute to let a flurry of connections disappear, and then I do:
netstat -b
I see this:
Active Connections
Proto Local Address Foreign Address State PID
TCP tczotter-d820:1325 localhost:11630 ESTABLISHED 49436
[LSMGUIAIR.exe]TCP tczotter-d820:11630 localhost:1325 ESTABLISHED 89592
[PoserPro.exe]That's the two sides of the persistent connection between LSMGUIAIR and PoserPro.
If the connection were to be lost, those would not be "ESTABLISHED". If you get in the state where the + button is missing, you might wait 1 minute and then run netstat -b and see what it says.
