OK, enough hours of not getting Poser 7 to do anything ... I am really, really lost.  I can take Simon out and put Mil Horse in; I cannot load the textures or the forms of the various breeds.

I cannot seem to make it do anything at all .... and I know it is just me.

The help links in this old program are gone (domains for sale) .. or under construction.

Many of Acadia's links are likewise out of date.

I did try Dr. Geep's but he seems to start where the PDF starts ... Cameras, lights, etc and that is not exactly where I am at  .... I am at -- make it look like it is supposed to, --- and then worry about poses, magnets, etc ...   The object must be secured ...  before you add textures ???

I read it, I cannot find select the object (Object Menu / make ?) ...  I will try and read some more, but there must be a way to get over the first bump of how it works ...

I can do things in Shade,  granted it is not the same, but it is 3D.  So I get the lingo, just not the GUI. 

Are there any video tuts for the very, very basic stuff .. the things you need when you first look at a program and OPEN does not even work for you? ...
