Sally, give us a rudimentary issue you would like clarified first and we can proceed in small steps.  Apparently, you are overwhelmed about where to actually start with this program, and you are not alone.  You, at least, figured out how to swap figures which is a beginning.  We just need to nudge you in the right direction.
