I feel like I have not read enough or checked for tutorials enough.  I feel like I must have missed something / somewhere .... ....
I think Poser 5 came with a book, but it is certainly down in storage where I will never get to it without hours of shifting boxes and furniture. ... No excuse; Google should have been good enough ... I suspect I need hand holding .. oh sad.    Likely true.

I need a little primer on HOW what happens in each room Happens ... like this and that switch must be set, or no amount of clicking will do anything (at least that is where my brain thinks I am). This machine has enough ram it should not lag, but it does ... so I am being very patient.

I can put Mil Horse in the window (mouse click Simon, hit delete key, find Mil Horse and click once ??or twice?? --stress-I should not stress!!) ... I can find the textures which I loaded to the program as you indicated .. but now they do not load to the controls ... They do not show in the library (are there not supposed to be thumbnails of the textures, etc?).  Or is that a later version, this is version 7 and not the pro model.

I cannot get the Mil Horse to accept any of the custom textures (in fact I cannot even see them because it seems I clicked on the Mil Horse's default color, and that is what loaded in place of the Custom Textures which I got to load into the controls on the first try ... but they will not come back.  (and I cannot remember how I got them to load in the first place) ...

[[are other people afraid of breaking the Program if they do something wrong? ... I know it is silly, and I know I should not be affected like that, but I am ... it is another stress thing, it will go away when I know what I am doing.]]

So something is amiss.
