On Snow Leopard here also. What can screw things up is having more then one !DAZ folder. What I do and it takes time. Actually did this Saturday to make sure I didn't overwrite anything as I updated M4 for the elite and muscle morphs. I created a folder called Temp in addition to my existing Michael 4 runtime. I installed M4 all over again and pointed the installer to my folder named Temp. Make sure you go all the way to the last step of the installer and check the initialize the install. This creates a new or updated cr2 with the appropriate channels built in.
After I re-installed and or updated everything. Then I dragged what I wanted to my Michael 4 runtime and then moved the stuff in the !DAZ folder in the temp runtime to the appropriate places one folder at a time in my base runtime. This is the time consuming part. But my Daz characters always work as expected. Time spent on the front end, has saved me a ton of headaches latter on when Morphs don't work or load correctly. But when you are done, make sure you delete the now empty !DAZ folder in the Temp runtime.
